Box Jumps

Power is an optimal combination of mobility, stability, strength and speed. Without each component, comes an increase chance of injury. With all four working, explosive club head speed and distance can be achieved..

Movement:

Start in a standing, or athletic position, about a foot away from the Box.  Jump from the ground, on to the box. attempt to clear the box with at least a few inches and land with slightly bent knees on the box. step down off the box one foot at a time.

Note: for safety We encourage a softer plyo box, designed specifically for box jumps. avoid metal or wooden boxes.  A box jump does not directly correlate to vertical power, the size of the box is not as important as landing safely, choose your box wisely.
