P-5 Lead arm parallel to the ground in the forward swing

This transition, loading move is crucial. It is important to learn how to transition pressure into the lead knee foot and hip, while also keeping the front shoulder down for a moment. In this position the vertical force and the ground reaction force (GRF) is the highest measurable in the lead leg. It’s almost as if you are setting up a jump and thrust to transfer the most acceleration and speed to the golf club from the body. From the Face-on view there is a distinct knee separation. It almost looks like a squat(riding a horse). In this position the club shaft is still at 90° or more to the wrist angle. From P-4 to P-5 is where the hips have accelerated the most.
